LEADERSHIP ADVISORY

Leading Well Through

|

I work alongside senior leaders and leadership teams as they navigate the decisions, relationships and organizational challenges that matter most.

An experienced outside perspective to help you see what is happening, work through what matters, and move forward together.

STRATEGIC

If this sounds familiar

Leaders come to

this work when:

• the organization is growing or changing

• important decisions are proving difficult to resolve

• priorities are competing and alignment is beginning to drift

• the leadership team isn’t working together as effectively as it could

• tension, unclear roles or accountability are getting in the way

Sometimes there is a problem to solve. Sometimes there is an opportunity to pursue.

Often, what is needed first is enough perspective to see what is really happening and determine what matters now.

What sits beneath the surface

Leadership challenges rarely sit neatly in one place.

• A strategic question becomes a people question.

• Competing priorities reveal different assumptions.

• Growth exposes gaps in roles and relationships.

• Difficult decisions test alignment.

• Unspoken tensions begin shaping what happens next.

What looks like one issue is often several things interacting at once.

This work helps make sense of what is happening, work through what matters, and find a way forward — while strengthening the team’s capacity to lead together.

How I work

How I work

PWCLC

Alongside the leader.

With the team.

In the real work of the organization.

I work with senior leaders and leadership teams over time, creating space to step back from immediate demands and work through what matters most.

The work may involve executive advisory and coaching, leadership-team development, strategic facilitation or focused work around a particular decision, relationship or organizational challenge.

The work is shaped around what the organization actually needs.

We work with what is actually happening.

Assumptions are tested. Tensions are named. Different perspectives are explored. Decisions are worked through. New possibilities become visible.

And while we address the issue in front of us, we also strengthen the capacity of the leader and team to lead well together.

The work of leading becomes the work of leadership development.

What this makes possible

What makes this possible

Stronger leadership where it matters.

  • Better decisions

Important issues are surfaced, worked through and moved forward.

  • Stronger trust and alignment

Leaders understand one another better and develop greater clarity around direction, priorities and what matters now.

  • More constructive conflict and conversation

Differences and tensions can be surfaced earlier and worked through productively.

  • Clearer accountability

Greater clarity about decisions, ownership and what happens next.

  • Greater leadership capacity

The senior leader carries less alone and the leadership team becomes more capable of leading the organization together.

  • Stronger organizational results

Greater clarity, alignment and accountability strengthen execution on the priorities that matter most.

About Paul

I have spent more than 30 years leading, developing people and working with teams across different organizations, sectors and cultures.

Much of that experience has been in situations where the way forward was not immediately clear — where people, relationships, priorities and organizational realities all had to be held together.

Today, I bring that experience to my work alongside senior leaders and leadership teams.

I help you step back, see what may be difficult to see from inside the organization, have the conversations that matter, and find a way forward together.

My work draws on that leadership experience, alongside professional training in executive, team and group coaching, strategic facilitation and leadership dynamics.

“Working with Paul stopped me from making one costly choice after another.”

What are you leading right now?

Every organization is different.

If some of this sounds familiar, let’s start with a conversation about what is happening, what matters now, and where an outside perspective might be useful.

We can then determine whether working together makes sense.
